Den Leader Outdoor Experience (DOE) Training

Friday and Saturday, September 10-11, 2021

Kelsey Short Youth Camp, Area 3, Smithville Lake, 17924 Collins Road, Smithville, MO

DOE Training will help leaders of Cub Scouts become more aware of outdoor activities; and help them use Cub Scout outdoor skills. Learn simple but fun Cub Scout hikes, outdoor games, cooking, knife safety, knots and more—plus fun and fellowship with fellow Scouters!

Besides participating in Council camps (day camp, resident camp), packs may organize overnight campouts for boys and their families. Adults leading a pack overnighter must attend DOE training in order to be issued a tour permit.

This course covers all requirements for BALOO and Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders. These courses have been combined into one DOE training.

Prerequisites

All participants must complete the online BALOO training on my.scouting.org. Please bring proof of this training. Additionally, bring your current Health and Medical Record with you.
