May 6th, 2021 during Roundtable!
At the last roundtable, Phil Symmonds announced that we'd be holding a Dutch Oven cooking contest during May's in-person roundtable held on May 6th at Jesse James Park in Kearney.
Here's how the contest is going to work:
- Packs, Troops, Crews, or individuals should bring their dish already prepared, as well as ample plates/bowls and utensils to allow for sampling.
- Entrants will be responsible for dishing up samples for the attendees and will wear masks and gloves while doing so. The person dishing up food should be an adult or older Scout.
- Coffee cans will be set up in front of each entry. Attendees need to bring pennies to toss into the cans as votes.
- The entry with the most pennies in their can at the end will win!
